Being a cadet gives you the opportunity to try activities that may not be available at school or college. You can build confidence, meet people, develop practical skills and work towards achievements you can be proud of.

Parade nights

126 Squadron currently parades on:

  • Mondays and Thursdays

  • 18:45 to 21:30

  • Excluding bank holidays

Cadets should arrive on time and be prepared for the evening’s activity. Additional activities can take place at weekends or during school holidays.

What will be expected of you?

We ask cadets to:

  • Attend regularly and arrive on time and have 75% of attendance

  • Attend mandatory paredes

  • Treat cadets, volunteers and visitors with respect

  • Take care of their uniform, equipment and use their own initiative and to take responsibility for their actions

  • Listen to instructions, particularly during safety briefings

  • Contribute positively to the squadron

  • Be willing to learn and support the team

  • To be proactive, resilient and determined

You will not be expected to know everything straight away. Our team will help you progress from your first parade night onwards.
